The North Face : Return to Meru

The North Face athletes Conrad Anker, Jimmy Chin and Renan Ozturk take on The Shark's Fin of Meru for a second time to complete the first ascent after a failed attempt several years earlier. With no shortage of epic details, The North Face asked for a robust storytelling platform to capture this epic. Print ads, web banners and a scrolling web experience tie the story together and give a look into this amazing adventure.

The site experience acts as the main storytelling hub. Using the route taken by the athletes to the summit, we created an scrolling experience that starts on top and works backwards taking the viewer down the mountain to where it all began. Different modules along the way allow a peek inside of this expedition.
